Founded in Tiohtià:ke/Montréal, LinguoSphère helps multilingual adults practise speaking in the conversations that matter to them. Together with the organizations that support them, we want to make professional conversation more accessible, more contextualised and more continuous, so that language limits access to work, education and social participation less.

Marie Membrado

Andragogist, founder and CEO

A certified teacher of French as a second language, Marie brings more than ten years of experience in adult language integration and adult education. She leads the pedagogical, commercial and strategic vision of LinguoSphère.

Miguel Membrado, Ph.D.

Cofounder, Artificial Intelligence and Operations

A technology entrepreneur, Miguel, Marie's father and cofounder, contributes to the AI strategy, the operations and the structuring of LinguoSphère.

Carlos Blanco

Cofounder and Chief Technology Officer

Carlos designed the technical architecture and built the first deployed version of LinguoSphère. His expertise in conversational systems and large language models turns pedagogical needs into robust, scalable technological experiences.

THE ORIGIN OF LINGUOSPHÈRE

A personal experience that became a pedagogical conviction.

Marie Membrado, a French-Iranian-Spanish entrepreneur who immigrated to Québec as a teenager, created LinguoSphère from her own experience with language. Trained at the Université de Montréal, holder of a Quebec teaching certificate and a graduate degree from HEC Montréal, she taught French as a second language for 10 years, then worked as a pedagogical advisor for 2 years.

Miguel Membrado joined his daughter as a cofounder after recognising in her vision a problem he had lived through himself: it had taken him 40 years to develop his professional English. Holder of a Ph.D. in artificial intelligence and a technology entrepreneur, he complements Marie's pedagogical and commercial vision with AI strategy and operations.

Carlos Blanco, who shares the same experience since immigrating from El Salvador to Toronto, designed the technical architecture and built the first deployed version of the platform. Together, they share a simple conviction: you truly learn to speak by speaking.
