WHY SPEAKING CAN FEEL DIFFICULT

Knowing the words does not always make the conversation easy.

Many learners understand more than they feel able to say. The challenge often appears when the other person responds unexpectedly, speaks quickly or asks a follow-up question.

Finding your words in the moment

Under pressure, familiar vocabulary can be slow to surface in a real exchange.

Reacting to the unexpected

A surprise question or a quick reply can change the direction of the conversation.

Practising often enough

Without regular opportunities to speak, building autonomy takes longer.

Practise the conversation, not just the vocabulary.

01

Choose a situation

Select a scene connected to a goal, context or conversation you want to practise.

02

Speak in your own words

Listen, respond, ask questions and reformulate when needed.

03

Use support when needed

Access help, repeat an intervention or review useful language without leaving the experience.

04

Review and try again

Look at the feedback, identify one priority and repeat the scene or practise another situation.

CREATE YOUR SCENE

Practise the exact conversation you need.

Describe the situation you want to practise, who you will be speaking with and what you are trying to do. LinguoSphère generates a scene based on your request so you can start speaking in your own words.

Frequently asked questions

What is LinguoSphère?

LinguoSphère is a space to practise speaking a language through interactive AI conversations inspired by real-life situations.

Do I need a VR headset?

No. LinguoSphère is available in your browser and on mobile. Immersive experiences may be offered depending on the scenario or project, but they are not required to practise.

Can I speak freely?

Yes. You respond in your own words rather than picking from predefined answers.

What languages can I practise?

The languages currently available are listed in the Languages section on this page. Additional languages are in preparation.

Does LinguoSphère replace a teacher?

No. LinguoSphère is a complement that offers additional opportunities to speak between classes or on your own.

What happens after a conversation?

You can review useful observations from the exchange, identify one priority and repeat the scene or try another one.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. LinguoSphère works on mobile through the browser.

Can I practise with headphones in a public place?

Yes. You can practise with headphones while using LinguoSphère on your phone. Because the conversation is highly interactive and takes place in real time, your microphone may also pick up surrounding noise.

If LinguoSphère does not hear your answer, asks you to repeat yourself or continues waiting for a response, simply speak to the AI naturally. You can ask it to repeat the question or explain that background noise interrupted the conversation, then continue practising.

For the best experience, choose a place where you can speak safely and where the surrounding noise is not too loud.

Can I use LinguoSphère on my phone?

Yes. You can open LinguoSphère in your mobile browser and add the web app to your Home Screen for easier access.
